Grants For Car Adaptations

I have just been informed that i will have to a) go for an assement for what will be the best hand controls for me to use, and B) have been advised that i will have to source my own grant for the modification
Does anyone in the UK know of a charity other than motorbility that can help with the cost of assement and adaptation?
