Maybe this IS the answer . . . call the tow company every time they're illegally parked. Hell, at least SOMEONE will get paid!

I realize this probably won't fly in the real world, but it sure would be nice.

Is there any way we can start taking photos of these said violators with time stamps on them with the plates, and send them off to our local police via email or something?

Do you think they would accept those and be able to send these people what they deserve a big fat ticket.

I think this would be an excellent way to nail them.

I bet a lot of those cops have place cards as well. It wouldn't surprise me at all. I sat a few times in parking lots and just watched since I do send people into the store for me at times. I count how many can basically run into the store and have zero signs of issues. It makes me so mad. I know there are some invisible disabilities like breathing and what not but if they are basically jogging to the store it is not all that severe.

I always wonder when I come along in my chair and they are flying along to there close spot and I had to park way on the other end of the lot taking two spots for access, if they even say gee maybe I am wrong or at least have a passing thought that maybe they shouldn't be doing that.
I know I will always have a seat:)

To be honest I never had major issues til a couple incidents occurred (Yeah I know shame on me) one was at McDonalds, I was going up the parking lot and noticed an SUV blocking the ramp, it had barely enough room to go up, it was parked in the handicap spot. I automatically look at the rear view mirror to see if I spot the stickman in the chair hanging from it, and guess what...NOPE! So then I notice someone sitting in the drivers seat, I go to the passenger side door and look and it's a female sitting there on her phone texting I guess, so I want to let her know how upset I am with only a facial expression, so I put on my most meanest and most intimidating face and wait for her to look my way but she is so in grossed with her phone that it takes like almost a minute for her to glance to her right, I made sure to give her THAT LOOK directly into her eyes for a solid three seconds or so, then I turn quick going up the ramp not really caring if I bump her SUV.

I just figure instead of calling the police in that instance a look would suffice, and it's more satisfying anyhow, I'm positive she got the point that I was trying to get across, I know that's not the best way to handle things, but by the time I called the cops and they arrived she and her companion would've already been at home eating their Mcnuggets.

It's bad enough that they illegally park there, but also blocking the ramp just aint right! So I say the best way to teach them a lesson is to chisel the stickman in the chair with a key on their automobile...I love nice artwork. BTW I'm joking (not really)

I called a car in once. It was a BMW convertible parked in a handicap spot. I couldn't park because of this fancy spancy car and it irked me. Cop was there in 10 minutes and left a ticket and a big smile on my face.

I didn't call 911 when I called it in. Just the Police Department phone number. I keep a phone book in my van.
