Hello
I was just wondering if there were any members out there that use some sort of device to place over their toilet to use when doing bowel therapy. I was shown how to transfer directly onto the toilet while in hospital, but I couldn't then lean far enough or get in any sort of position to put in my enema and do digital stimulation.
I currently use a shower chair that sits over the toilet with a gap on my right side for me to do my therapy, but I would love to find a way to just have some sort of raised seat that still had a gap in it to gain access from the side. I would then just need to get a shower seat like one of our members sell's that folds right up, and have the seat to take if I wanted to get away. My shower chair is big and clumbersom and I would never be able to take it and my normal chair anywhere.
Nothing like this may exist, but if anyone knows about something like it, I would appreciate any information available.
Cheers

Oh ya, the opening of the raised toilet seat will go on the side opposite of your grab bar. That way you can hold onto the grab bar and use your other arm/hand to do what is needed.
Hope this helps!

Hi Bethann
Thank you so much for replying, I looked at the model you mentioned and it looks ideal. The only problem is they appear to only sell in America. But as least I know what I'm looking for now, and I'll do some more searches to try and find somewhere that sells something comparable, and ships to Australia.
Thanks again
