Once again I have come to the conclusion that the people that supplied me my wheelchair are incompetent assholes. After fighting for over 6 months to actually get my wheelchair i was under the assumption that i was done with these people. I even bought extra inner tubes so i would never have to go back to these people. I started with these people back in september of last year. The original out of pocket expense that i was supposed to have was going to be over $2600. Not understanding the price i asked for an itemized breakdown of the chair. in which i found them to have added two backs two sets of casters, push handles and anti-tip bars. There were only three things that i had requested. Spox Wheels, a Roho jetstream back and natural fit hand grips. We had come to the conclusion and agreement that my out of pocket expense was going to be just shy of $1400. I paid for all of this and received my chair back in march. Three weeks ago i got a bill from them saying that i now owe them $430. According to this bill i have paid close to a total of $4800. Between my insurance and i the total money spent was $3400. and that $400 wont cover the difference. I am going to finish this because it is long and pointless. REHABTECH was my supplier. They were absolutely terrible. No customer satisfaction unless you are needing to buy a power chair and even then they are bad. They mark the price up to an insane number and then expect you to jump through hoops for them. If you really now a bad supplier make this a list of bad suppliers. my supplier definitely screwed with my head. These people are screwed with by your insurance company and honestly they should be the advocate for you to your insurance company. give the heads up on bad suppliers.
