I'm getting a MRI next month. I haven't had one since 1996. I don't know all the reasons to get one and what to look for. Is there something to look for specifically? Can someone help me out here?

Did your doctor tell you to get an mri? Why are you having one done?

hi i had one done last month, bit claustrophobic but i just shut my eyes and imagined myself to be on a sandy beach! make sure you wear the headphones as its very noisy
they take cross sections of your body as an xray type thing and can tell if there are any problems,i've heard they can sometimes have music to lessen the sound?but you have a panic button if you get a bit scared
