[Terrible Texan]

My 3rd pressure sore that i had flap surgery's on, opened up again last night. had a puss pocket under the skin. as of now, plastic surgeon said just come in & see him on tuesday unless it gets worse. i've only been geetin' up for about 6 weeks now, untill about 4pm daily. dr says i need to lean side to side also, instead of just back & forth. other 2 sores i had surgeries over, hopefully not this one. anyone have this issue.

Gosh, I'm sorry. These things just don't want to leave you alone, do they? Have they used a wound vac on any of them? I've had really good luck with them.

I had a terrible time with a broken ankle that resulted in an ulcer. They used creams and silver nitrate took @ 6mths to close up. Skin is still healing but much much better. I didn't think it would ever close. I hope it heals for you.

Wow TT! Sorry to hear you're having trouble again. I wish these sores would leave you alone so that you can move on! Keep us posted as to what the surgeon says. Sending positive thoughts your way!

Back in March i Actually had to have a flap surgery for a sore that i had on my butt, Had, had it for 5 plus years it was always clean but would never heal, so finale in march they decide was the only was the only way we could get it taken care of, Preasure sore are always a pain in the Butt no pun intended.

I've said it before Tex so I know it doesn't do you any good, but you are due for a hell of a run of good luck. All I, or any of us I guess, can do is just send you good thoughts, and hope your recovery is soon and long lasting. Take care.

TT...Are you over in Texas riding those wild bulls trying to impress the ladies?...LOL

I wish there was something to say or do that would make you feel better and heal quicker but I know there isn't .

You must find some way to get through these horrible sores...

Kiwiquad has a miracle mattress (not joking). Shoot her a message, she can give you all the ins and outs. I know it was very expensive, but she swears by it. I have read so many of your posts dealing with sores, this mattress may be a good investment for your insurance carrier.

I'm thinking of you and often wonder how you're fairing.
