A guy I see at a lot of car events recently bought this Ferrari and installed the hand controls himself (monarchs), didn't watch him put his chair in it but it must be possible.

I can personally recommend a Jag XKR - bit quicker than a DB9 and more reliable. I can get in and out of it fine and the bonus is the boot is big enough for my chair as well as being able to get it inside the car.
If you want something quicker, cheaper and easier to get in out have you looked at a Nissan GTR (just lacks the class of the Aston or the Jag)
You do know that adapting doors to open wider is a standard adaption that almost any hand control company will be able to do at the same time as installing the hand controls ?
