Hi everyone, i'm new.

Posting this on a few forums as I'm not sure which is most suitable

Just wanted to pick your brains if that's ok. I'm getting married next year and as my Dad is in a wheelchair I'm struggling to find a suitable wedding car. He can't transfer so the car would need to accomodate him in his chair (and me in a big dress!).

Does anyone have any ideas or experience with this?

The wedding is going to be in South Bucks.

Thanks for your help,
finchy xx

Hi there,

First my question to you is where are you located? That might make a huge difference. I can tell you if you were in the "South Blocks" of my city you could very easily rent a mini van with lift/ramp. In addition a lot of cab companies have wheelchair access mini vans you could hire for the event. I'm not sure what other route to take on this.

Oh dear I must be tired. I just reread my reply and for some reason I read that as "Blocks" not "Bucks" LOL.

Have you considered a black cab?

I often use black cabs as I am able to wheel straight in and you would have the whole back seat to yourself, plenty of room for your big dress!
