Hi, not sure if none has asked this before!!!! I train every day, eat healthily, but still have managed to acquire the dreaded para belly. I do 300 plus sit ups a day plus other abs exercises, so I have tred. Has anyone actually gone down the liposuction / surgery route post injury. I would hate to do anything that puts e at a higher risk than normal and I appreciate that many surgeons may not understand fully our additional risk factors??????

You want to be really great? Then have the courage to fail big and stick around. Make them wonder why you're still smiling

Brill thankyou!!!! I still can't work out if we would be more at risk- I can feel my stomach which is my nightmare area so that particular area wouldn't be susceptible to pressure sores- but I wonder if we would be at more risk of say blood clots in our legs!!!!

There is also a less invasive procedure which uses a laser. I have seen Groupon offers for it. Lipo tends to be better effective on stubborn areas of fat after weight loss, from what I have read, and is not an alternative to weight loss for which diet and exercise is the most effective route.

If you find a local clinic for laser-lipo they should tell you the risks but my concern would be infection and wound healing the traditional route.
