I don't know if anyone else uses one of these, my hubbie bought me one for Christmas last year and it has been the best thing ever.
As an incomplete para I was using a stool given me by the occupational therapists in the kitchen, which was ok but then a friend let me try a Bambach that her disabled son uses.
As a horse rider I found it very comfy, the seat is well padded but best of all it is height adjustable, and tilte strong to back, so I drop it down to reach in kitchen cupboards then lift it up to work top height to work from. I can rest my feet on the floor so I am very stable and don't fall off it when reaching for things like I did with an ordinary stool.
It is not cheap, but there are some other similar makes that come out a bit cheaper, but I use it every day and it has been worth the money, really helps me and I am less tired at the end of the day.....hubbie does not do cooking which is probably one reason he was happy to buy it !!

Jane can you give us some idea of the cost, I can see no prices on their webpage which is always a bad sign lol.

Just checked I paid £399 I know it is an awful lot of money but I can honestly say I use it every day and along with my Trekinetic K2 wheelchair it is the thing which helps me most in everyday life.
The company will send one out on a 10 day free trial so that you can try it out at home, I must admit there was no question of mine going back once I had tried it !
If you are not too far from me in Yorkshire you would be welcome to come and try mine otherwise.
Any more questions do ask.
