Does anybody know of a good bagpack that can carry alot that I can put on the back of my chair? I usually carry a normal backpack for catheters and small items but I need one where I can carry at least 2 pairs of clothes, meds, my camera, phone, tablet, and at least 50 catheters. I'm taking flights and I don't want to take a luggage or a duffle bag cause it would be difficult to carry and push. Just want a reliable backpack with lots of storage rooms.

Below are pics of the back of my chair just to give you an idea of what kind of bag I need. Tips and Advice is much appreciated, thanks.

I've used a modifed backpack i found one the right size at a surplus store and then had a military style yoke designed for a framed rucksack sewn to it. The big benefit is that the straps are very tough and have quick releases to get at your backpack in a hurry.

I dont like a bag on the back of my chair but I have a "caddy carrier' on the front that I can sit my bags on. I would be completely lost without this as it is the only way to carry shopping basket etc. I put my handbag around my waist.

I used to have a small rucksack on the back of my power chair.
However for security reason moved to a bag that slides on the armrest of my electric chair.

I did this having seen a TV programme showing a distraction theft carried out of two people on the wheelchair user.

I realise that paraplegics don't have the armrest but most of you guys seem to have the bags on the front behind your legs again much safer.

I really wouldn't advise having it on the back.

Hanging valuables on the back of your wheelchair is just easy pickings for accomplished scum who steal.

P.S

has anyone else noticed that direct dictation on the messageboard stops working after the first sentence?

I'm having to dictate my replies using DragonPad and cutting and pasting very annoying.

Cheers

it just makes it way too easy However However However I stopped having it I
If it don't make sense I blame the voice typing software misunderstanding me not my failure to listen in English classes!
