Oh do I hate the snow. It means shit is always wet, and some days stuck inside. It is also generally freezing balls out. Two questions one a descent pair of gloves that stay dry and warm that don't look absolutely ridiculous(PROFESSIONAL) and two ways to prevent or minimize snow getting between the rims and hand rails of the wheels. I really get annoyed to constantly have to clean my chairs. any advice to make winters a little bit better would be nice. THANKS>

I recently posted about a glove discovery I made http://www.apparelyz...621#entry264621 I live in the mountains so I feel you on the downfalls of winter. For work I had to go across the snow to the gondola every morning, cold, icy, slippery rims, yuck. I'm still working on the best way to dry my wheels when I come inside. My building has carpeted hallways but they still don't dry my wheels enough so when I come in my apartment I get dirt and snow all over the hardwood floors. I've been keeping a towel at the door to dry off while I'm on the front mat. I haven't been able to prevent it from getting on my chair though, I'll forever be in the debt to the first person who figures that out!

I think the only way of resolving the dragging dirt into house bit, is to have two chairs. I mean after all, its kind of like getting out of your shoes and into your slippers.
And if your second chair isnt all that comfortable, return to the first one after its dried.
Most people seem to have at least 2, do you?

We seem to have a few "inventers" posting here, on occasion. Maybe one of them could come up with a simple device for cleaning wheels and tires while still on the chair. A couple of rollers and several rotating brushes, come to mind,, now if we just had an engineering type person to do the design work,, we might have something I'd be willing to spend some money on.
