I know this is been done before, and I know many people are in alot worse situations then I am. So I was still recovering from my spinal fusion I had in October. When my leg spams started to get worse, along with the spasticity. I was sent in to get a mylogram and it was discovered that I cracked my L4 verdbrate. I am probably gonna have to have surgery again, this will mark the 6th surgery for me in less then 5 years. I cant go to PT/OT anymore and that really helped cause it got me out of the house with something to do. Worse now I may have to drop out of school putting my masters on hold yet again, I also had a potential job which looks like I prob wont get that as well. Honestly I am wondering when I will get a break from all of this.

As to getting a break, is that not the reason you're in this situation? Light humor!
Hang in there kid, it gets easier.
As to people being in a worse position, we are not in a Mexican stand off here on this forum, whatever we are going through at any given time that brings concern, is that of equality to one whose issues differ.

Positivity is that in which we all need to aspire to, yet, at times, it can be difficult.
What you are going through at still this early stage, will make you stronger for what is to come as you age.
My terminology of it getting easier, does not necessarily mean the journey that lays ahead for you will be an easy one, but, with time, it will allow you strength of character to deal with compared to the early years of SCI.
As to numbering surgeries, treat each as a hurdle.

Put the past behind you, believe that the next surgery will be the one and focus on that, get rested, eat well and try and be as fit and healthy as you can in preparation.
