The accessibility of the Sugar Cane train is fantastic. Designated parking and easy level and ramped areas around the station. The ticket center and gift shop are also easy to get around. The train itself has a car that has Ricon type lifts that easily get you up into the car and it is easy and open to get around as passenger seats lift up. The train use steam engine and runs along six miles of old railroad which was used to haul sugarcane to the Pioneer Sugar Mill. The trip itself isn't rock and roll as the train chugs along at approx 20 miles an hour but the views of the ocean and golf courses and even the backside of the commercial areas is interesting as you think this train track has seen a lot of history built around it. For more info and details check out their website http://www.sugarcanetrain.com/ PS I unfortunately had a cancellation at our accessible condo on Maui www.mauiaccessiblecondo.com from Friday April 27, 2012 to Sunday May 6, 2012
