I must admit, I'm a bit behind everyone on here, I come on one day and post stuff then next time I'm on is a few weeks down the line, think it was about 8months at one point, ashamed to say I completely forgot about the site due to being extremely busy with work and having other personal problems! :(

Hopefully I can get on more now though and interact with everyone more :)

I'll just have to make sure I don't come on when :drunk: or I'll be writing a load of rubbish like I am just now :lmao:

like someone else already brought up, I think people might think twice about posting because seems like some members on here just like to talk sh*t about what people post without anything positive to add. Or u have those all knowing members that know everything about everything and if u post something that is your opinion they are quick to try to make you feel stupid for posting at all because they are oh sooo smart. I joined this site to try and meet people going through the same thing as me/ same level of injury, for info and tips and tricks from people who have been at this alot longer than me. This is just my opinion.

Wow I'm really sorry you've felt that way. :seehearspeak: I hope that feeling changes.

Ummmmmmm! Have yet to re-read the whole thread properly!! I will do!!

But ... Reallllllllllllllllllly??? Crumbs I thought we were helpful most of the time!

Someone point me to a thread that the above applies to!
Life is just to short not to have fun!

Hi greybeard and everyone else. I'm still here. I'm going on 8 years as a paraplegic now. This forum was one of the best tools to help me deal with my new normal life that I could have ever hoped for. I said a long time ago that it doesn't matter whether it's a doctor, nurse, therapist, friend, or family member, no one knows what it is like to live in a chair except someone who lives in a chair. I learned. I shared. I was inspired. I hope that I was able to inspire once in a while.
Once I got busy living my life in this chair rather than just talking about living my life in this chair, my world caught up with my new normal. Ever grateful to those who came here before me and ever hopeful for those who have started down this road of life in a chair.

On a lighter note...problems with my newest power chair for several months now. Company rep came to see if he could video the problems so the techs can brainstorm and try to figure out why my chair does the shopping cart wiggle. The rep himself is a para in a manual chair. So, he's holding on to the back of my chair, while filming my wheel with his cell phone. I'm going top speed and when my chair starts the wiggle I automatically think stop. I did. He didn't. Moral of the story...mind your mom and don't trail!

I've been a member since 2009 I believe. To be honest there's a few reason I never really found myself motivated to post much. The biggest one was that there used to be a lot of posts containing unfriendly and somewhat hostile responses. In many of those threads I couldn't find a valid reason for such nastiness. So instead of posting and putting myself in a position to be on the receiving end of such interactions, I just stayed quiet.

There seems to be a lot less of that going on around here now, so I've been trying to participate where I feel I can.

Hmm. Not sure they're quite my cup of tea (being an old bugger).
These are more to my taste. You'll note you only need copy and past the YouTube addresses here. (leave out from the & sign onwards)

I like both bands immensely. If I had to pick, I'd probably pick MM. But it'd be close.

Click on the underlined writing in the middle of the black page. It takes you straight to the Youtube page.
Here's Part 1. Should have posted it first.
