I have just found out after a recent mri scn that i have a spinal cord syrinx above my t4 level. I knew that something was wrong as i cannot feel water temperature on my left arm and cannot straighten out my left hand as much as i should be able to. I am beeing referred to a neurosurgeon. I am so worried and just wondered if anyone here had the same thing or had come across the same thing.

Which neuro hospital unit are you going to Cathelena? I've been to Southampton twice.

Hi Cathelena - if you look a couple of posts down on the board, there is another post about this topic where I recently put a link to an older post. Take a look at that and if you have any questions then feel free to reply on the post or PM me.
