Arm Pain (Ache)

Over the past few months i have been suffering with arm aches and pains the way i can describe it is as though i have been in the gym and ache the next day but this is every day, more so in my right arm and it is now making transfers a little difficult causing pain as soon as i have transfered like a reaction to using my arm to pull or lift my body,it is on a night too that trying to relax the pain in my arms and shoulders keeps from sleeping and moving them into another position helps for awhile but then the aches just come back.
I was planning a return to the gym to start training again but i am really not confident in doing that with the pain as it is.

Have you recently changed your wheelchair, changed sitting position, or started any strenuous activities to bring this on.

Is the sloughing due to your wheelchair back not being upright enough, or your bum not getting far enough back into your seat?
It may feel a bit wobbly to sit upright, especially if sloughing has happened over a long period of time, but it might be worth trying to correct your posture, and see how your arms feel after a couple of weeks.
Simon.
Edited to add, make sure your wheelchair upholstry is tight.

I have been moaning about my arms for awhile now and only when i post about it on here does she tell me about my slouching lol it makes more sense now as she also tells me i am leaning on my arms constantly to keep me up right or i would fall forwards and it something i thought i had always done.
I will still talk to the consultant and ask for an mri to put my mind at ease about the syrinx and make sure my arms are not being effected by that.

Brockit79 my arms ache pretty much all the time really it does not change at all I am hoping that it is postural but will see how they feel and have my check up in March with the consultant so I will see what he thinks if the problem carries on.
Thank you for your replies I think I tend to worry about changes since i was told about the syrinx because i do get pain around the same area also that it has formed in just around the injury at t3, although i did see a surgeon about that and the break in t3 and L1 both have healed badly they said it was nothing to worry about but from looking online as you do I start to think the worst before I know the facts.
