I am lucky enough to have tickets to go with my two older kids to watch Scotland at home in their upcoming glorious victories over England and France.
Here we have a thread where you have a chance to post your predictions, comments on performance, comments on results and of course all the other expected banter that I would expect as Ross Ford and my boys dominate over the coming weeks.
Trinity I know you will not be able to resist and I hope the other usual suspects will pitch in and everyone else is welcome to contribute too.
Let the tournament begin.

I so look forward to the six nations.I voted for England as I think we really have something to prove after the World Cup.
As the grandaughter of a Scot with a Welsh son in law. Having Irish great grandparents and a French connection I can always find someone to support.....
Looking forward to next Saturday. My idea of perfection...freezing outside, woodburner blazing, cuddled up with my favorite man, watching England beat Scotland ..bliss..

Sherbs, you need to put your vote in the poll, your homeland has no supporters as yet!!!
Trinnity I will use your full Sunday name instead of my usual familiar, sorry for your pain tomorrow, don't cry too much when Ross and the boys do us proud at Murrayfield!
I just cannae wait, going with my two older kids, Yee Haa.

We Germans are all for soccer and formula one.
BUT: I never let a chance go by to support Ireland ...
I just learnt this phrase: Erin go Bragh!
sherbs: Where is your vote for Ireland for the 6 Nations? Do vote, please!

Signs of things to come? Certainly hope the headline is!!
Scotland A thrash England Saxons at Galashiels
SCOTLAND A (13) 35
Tries: Hogg, Weir, Lawson, Scott Penalties: Weir 3 Conversions: Weir 3
ENGLAND SAXONS (0) 0
Scotland A ran in four tries as they beat England Saxons 35-0 in Galashiels.
Fly-half Duncan Weir kicked three conversions and three penalties to add to a second-half try in his 20 points as the home side dominated.
Glasgow full-back Stuart Hogg raced over from 60m to help Scotland A take a 13-0 lead in a first half that saw England's James Gaskell sin-binned.
Ed Slater was sin-binned for the Saxons in the second half, while Rory Lawson and Matt Scott added further tries.
England Saxons coach Jon Callard blamed "expensive" errors for his side's heavy defeat.
"It was a bad day at the office," he admitted. "There was plenty of desire and commitment but we never really generated much momentum and when we did make errors they were expensive ones.
"When you make a few mistakes and you're behind on the scoreboard maybe you try and force things a bit, try some individual things that don't come off and before you know it you're even further behind."

Taking into consideration that the Welsh have been denied a world cup victory they will have something to prove.
(the ref shall we say was a little bit harsh denying them their rightful place in the final and they would have beaten the All Blacks due to the Kiwi's not bringing much to the table in my opinion, then again, they won the first one and really did deserve a second at least but not in this world cup's performance).
Munster as always will dominate the jersey's of the Irish team and the squad are playing well and normally bring presence to the National squad along with a very strong back up of the Leinster lads (both Munster and Leinster have dominated the Heiniken Cup in recvent years).
As to a result, hard to call this one but I'll edge Ireland by a whisker.
