So I just got back from the Doctor's office today. Found out that I am gonna have another major surgery. Apprently the syrinx in my neck has gotten bigger and he has to open me up and put a shunt in there. On top of that I need the syrinx in my thorasic spine drained along a search for a possible tumor. Then I need to get the fracture I have fixed in my lumbar spine fused. The doctor said its possible I could lose movemet in my legs completely. He also said that I could lose movement in my arms as well. My surgery is gonna be in a week or 2. Im gonna do the best to stay strong. This will mark the 6th surgery for me.

Sounds like you've been through hell. I wish ya all the best and hope all goes well with your surgery. Try and stay positive and not panic. Be sure that if you have any unanswered questions, you ask them before your surgery. If you have any doubt at all about whats really going on with you, don't be afraid to get a second opinion.
Best of luck!

I'm sure it's scary but try to stay positive! Easier said than done, I know. Just keep thinking the best possible outcome. You may be surprised. The mind is a beautiful thing... Sometimes :-)

Best of luck with everything. Look forward to your update!

Hannibal,

Those of us who pray are praying for you, those of us who don't are thinking of you. Keep us informed.

Hannibal,
What a terrible shock. I, too, will be ghost-like at your bedside, just being there.
