He rattles when you pick him up and shake him. ROFL
Anyway...even paras don't really know when they have bladder stones. I found out when I had a 105 fever.
Since then I get a cystocopy once a year. My urologist actually looks inside my bladder with his metal tube fiber optics camera and sees what's inside.
My advice is to talk it over with your urologist and have them take a look.

But that's in no way any indication that he has bladder stones.
Is his urine cloudy? Is there blood in the urine? Is his bladder spazming to the point of losing urine?
These are some indicators of bladder stone's, but generally the only true way to be sure is have an ultrasound test done.
Good luck.

He is losing urine all the sudden at least these last few weeks, is that always an indication?

Same thing here Bill. When my urologist spots one, he will grab it with his "basket" and pull it out. Usually I will tell him when I have one. I use coude tipped catheters and I can feel when I have a bladder stone through the catheter.
Good luck.
