Does anyone know of a shipping line operating on the west side of the Atlantic that will bring a quadriplegic (complete with his helper/nurse) along as a passenger? I would like to travel from New York to points in south and central America. I don't even know if any of these types of ships are accessible. Any info will be much appreciated. All for now.

Your question peaked my curiosity which led me to this site . It appears, via FAQ section, that cargo ships rarely have elevators, and are not available to guests when they do have them. Looks like 'cargo-cruising' isn't an option for wheelers. sorry.
