Hi I am selling my Marvel Wheelchair which is unused and like brand new, I bought the chair for £5k

The chair is fully adjustable to the buyers size and needs, it comes with Rogue wheels.

I am looking for around £3,500 but open to sensible offers.

For more info on the Marvel Wheelchair : http://www.marvelwheelchairs.net/

I always wonder when I see ads like this.

Why is it being sold?

Why was it never used?

What's wrong with it?

How can you afford to (apparently) throw away £1500?

i know GB, i got all my chairs except the very first one and i gave it to easter seals for children that can't afford one, but i like all my chairs, i guess they do get in the way for some, but i mounted mine on my wall and can go get one down if i want to use a different chair, but they're out of the way....

" Why is it being sold? "
I bought this chair after saving for two years, i really liked the look of it.
The company i bought it off only let you try the chair when they are here and will not loan it to you for longer as they do not trust you.
I need to sell this chair so i can afford a new one.

" Why was it never used? "
I tried the chair around the house and they set it up twice but it just doesn't feel right for me.
I didn't use it any more because i thought it would appeal to more people if it was in the best condition ie as new!

" What's wrong with it "
What could be wrong with it, it's brand new!

" How can you afford to (apparently) throw away £1500? "

I can't, but theres £5k of chair sitting in the corner of my room, and i need a new chair asap.
So it's throw away £1500 or have it sitting in my room.

and the receipt can be shown on purchase if "apparently" you don't believe it!!!!

Hope this satisfies your curiosity! lol

I can not afford to give this chair to Easter seals, I'm sorry.
but you might want to sell some chairs and buy some paintings to mount might look better! lol

Just joking!!

Thanks for the reply. I've seen many ads worded similarly. They can't all have the same reasons you gave, so I suspect I'll retain my healthy cynicism for a while. Posted Image
