Hi, been in a chair for 4 years, never had an issue, I move around a lot, but.
Last 2 weeks noticed a few tiny red marks on my bum that don't seem to be getting worse, but not really getting better either. Just wondering if they'd be from pressure or something else....
Would a pressure sore come up in a few tiny spots, they are pretty close to my sitting bones. 1 of them is scabby.
I have a hairy bum, could they be in grown hairs ?
To me they don't look like they're from pressure although where they are I'm starting to q myself....
Any advice ?

I had a pimple a few times on the sides of my hips from sleeping. It kinda freaked me out until they went away within a weeks time.
Yes, keep an eye on it, especially where yours is located. Maybe even recheck the pressure of your cushion if it's a ROHO. Mine's gotten a little low during the winter cold.
And Richo, I had that a sores on the balls of both feet a few years ago. I didn't put anything on them (shoes or socks) and I kept them off the wheelchair plate for just over 2 months, rolling around the house with my feet hanging halfway off the foot plate. I even rolled around tilting back on my tippers to prevent my feet from dragging. It was a big pain in the ass, but keeping any and all pressure off that area at all costs paid off really fast. And, bigger shoes prevented any sores from returning. Well, crossing my legs helps too.

Think I'd rather have tight ankles than marks on my bum.

Ok, update, as I've said it's my first experience with them.
Now I have lost a bit of weight which has obviously left my bum a bit bonier.
These spots are quite tiny, but there are a few of them right on my it bones, with a couple that stabbed up.
To me it doesn't really sound like they are from pressure, but from sweat pimples or ingrown hairs and given where they are, right on my bones, the pressure just irritates them......
I have a hairy bum, so I was wondering if I waxed my bum cheeks I might be able to not let these marks start,, sound logical ??
Has anyone waxed their bum ?
