Not sure if I should be here as not directly sci related but here goes

Have had hemiplegia for 5 months and hemiparises for 8 not directly sci related neurological related the potential spinal / nerve / disc damage has happened now in relation to falls from neuro problems.

Any tips for coping with daily living as I live alone without much support and mostly bedbound with intense shooting and other times no feeling

No official diagnosis has been made yet in relation to what I’ve done with back neck and neuro and when I have other health conditions thrown in it complicates things, tests in progress and physio upcoming

I use crutches for walking generally due to another condition before hemiplegia but now can only support one side

Any tips would be appreciated

Thanks in advance for your help

When I met my wife she was caring full time for a hemiplegic woman who got around quite well with some little help. This woman did have a power scooter to help her get around in.
Have you considered something like that to help you get around more easily?

welcome to the sight, by the way.
