I was thinking about installing a bocce court at my house for my son. We always played before he was injured at his uncle house. Have a few beers and talk crap had a great time. He does not have finger function but he manages to under hand toss a tennis ball to the dog. Is there something out for purchase? I worry that the balls may be too heavy. Maybe modified bocce with golf balls any ideas?

They are going to have Boccia as an event during the National Veterans Wheelchair Games, in Richmond Virginia, this summer. I recently got the paperwork to enter, and was surprised to read about it. Apparrantly there will be ramps, similar to those used by quads for bowling,,, but obviously smaller since the balls are smaller. Perhaps you could construct something like that. He could aim the ramp and control the speed that way/
I haven't seen it yet,, but I am interested as well.
I say,, build it,, and he'll figure out a way to compete. Of that I have no doubt.
