Welcome to the world of nerve pain too, another little surprise from the sci gods. Does it feel like a constant buzzing, like you are having your feet crushed in a vice that is wired up to the mains?
Eternal pins and needles?
Yep, it's called nerve pain or neuro something or other. I'm sure wiser members will share their experiences of it with you.
It's something you will get used to, it helps not to think about it; this thread has set mine off something chronic!

the pain you get sounds like it is neuropathic pain which can be controlled with single or combination drug therapy. As sir Dancin' said it helps to be active as physical and mental activity can mediate the pain; have a chat with your doc.
welcome to the site!
