I am Polish and looking for a private rehabilitation clinic to where I could go. I few years ago I had a car accident. Consequence of the accident was a broken spine - C5 C6. I was already in all possible clinics in my country, so now I am looking for other opportunities abroad. It is very important to me to find a suitable place for my injury. So I really please for any information about the place where I could be rehabilitated in England and Scotland.

http://www.royalbucks.co.uk/
and
http://www.thewellin...-unit-rehab.asp
I don't know anywhere in Scotland, and I have no personal experience of the above places, hope this helps

This is the link for the Queen Elizabeth National Spinal Injuries at the Southern General Hospital in Glasgow where I was for 10 months from May 2009 after my injury. It normally inly takes new injuries and it's National Health Service rather than private but you may be able to get some guidance if you call them.

I think Stoke Mandaville take private patients. You need to be rich though!!!

Just wanted to say that it's great to see there is something like this forum where someone like Marta can ask for information and help her in finding it. I'm from The Netherlands and there isn't really a lot of information or a forum with information about SCI. So I know how great it is to find some sort of place where questions like these can be asked and answered.

Alright, this wasn't of help, but wanted to say it. Please continue... ;)

Thank you all for your help. Now try to find out if I could go there.

You can find lots of information about rehabilitation, but only in Poland. Not many people can afford private rehabilitation in Poland, and get worse in another country. However, many people have tried alternative methods such as stem cells in the Ukraine or in other countries. In Wroclaw in Poland, also conducted research on the transplantation of cells, but money was ended and stopped further research. It is a pity that there is only one place in Poland where it is worth to rehabilitate, so I hope I'll find something equally good.

Pozdrawiam serdecznie (in Polish - Best wishes)
