I like FlightRadar24. If you have ever wondered where the plane you can see flying over your house is going, well you can find out with this app.

I also use Living Earth, it gives you a satellite view of the world and the weather conditions.

Which apps do you use?
If I fall out of my wheelchair in the woods would anybody hear me?

A star gazer I've been since long ago; a willow tree my perch, the socal sky my playground...

A fav App of mine is a bit free software supported world wide, it lets you view, navigate through our known universe and all it's bits n pieces. It has a scripting language; for you real geeks, that lets you automate traveling between planets, stars, etc. It works on Windows, Mac and Linux, and is a ton of fun...here's the link to Celestia and the intro text from it's home page...enjoy!

Celestia

Welcome to Celestia
... The free space simulation that lets you explore our universe in three dimensions. Celestia runs on Windows, Linux, and Mac OS X.

Unlike most planetarium software, Celestia doesn't confine you to the surface of the Earth. You can travel throughout the solar system, to any of over 100,000 stars, or even beyond the galaxy.
All movement in Celestia is seamless; the exponential zoom feature lets you explore space across a huge range of scales, from galaxy clusters down to spacecraft only a few meters across. A 'point-and-goto' interface makes it simple to navigate through the universe to the object you want to visit.
Celestia is expandable. Celestia comes with a large catalog of stars, galaxies, planets, moons, asteroids, comets, and spacecraft. If that's not enough, you can download dozens of easy to install add-ons with more objects.

PS. Angry Birds is kinda cool, but shhhhh :)
