They are if you get a Motability car. If you buy a car yourself you get the VAT off the cost of the car but have to have the push pull controls fitted before you pick the car up and pay for them yourself.

I forgot to say google Push Pull Hand Controls or call your local car dealer and ask them who they use to fit controls.

If you're not on Motability then i think they are about £300, but i'm sure there's some good deals out there.

Cost me £420 for Gosling push pull, fitted to a Zaphira last summer.

.
OK now I have a problem here in that I bought a second automobile. With this i purchase hand controls. Now I'm trying to find a way of getting some of my money back. I've talked with CPA(Canadian Paraplegic Association) and they said to try the March of Dimes. Well that didn't help as I know I make to much money for them to reimburse me. I've gone on-line trying to find if there are any Government Agencies that might be able to steer me in the right directions as to who I can talk too? I just don't feel like I should be paying for the full $800.

I know with my other automobiles, I've never had to pay out of my pocket. And you know for the life of my I cannot remember what I did or where I went for the funding.

Cheers
