A more recent photo, this is me at my 23rd birthday party.

You've definitely been blessed with age-defying genes...You probably hear this remark all the time, but I think your hair is gorgeous. Hopefully I haven't come off as being creepy :helpme:

Everyone always tells me I'm lucky to look so young.... which I might appreciate when I look 21 but am really 40 but right now it's really annoying. Ordering an alcoholic drink at a resturant is fun though just to see the look on the waiters face when they see my I.D. and realize just how old I am. Thank you for saying my hair is gorgeous and no you haven't given me the impression you're creepy.

ok going to try this again, prob still going to screw it up lol

Beautiful! I dearly loved your Q&A section as well...I don't understand how 90% of men can be absolute perverts. I never fully understood how uncomfortable men make women until my wife and I started exercising at the park. Melinda's stunning, and to watch men stare at her totally disgusts me. I've made a point to never stare at women -- most I give is a glance and a friendly smile!

Ty, both of ya! I'm a sarcastic lil creature, and I do write, I just don't want to deal with publishers, and agents, and other beasts lol...

And yeah, I've been creeped out and even scared by certain men. I walk to work, and before the most recent apt I moved into, literally behind my place, it was a 10 minute walk down a street that gets onto the freeway, so you can imagine the traffic. I've had guys pull over *offering* me a ride, one fellow pulled into a parking lot, was trying like hell to get my attention (I walk and talk on my cell phone so I have someone *with me* and that way someone would know if something occured) while I kept talking and walking. Another, went into parking lot of work, and I happened to see my boss walking from his car, and i ran to him and walked the rest of the way safely. I think they just see the boobs, lol. I've been followed in my car (I'm one hell of a driver, and usually have a faster car than the individual(s) in question) and had to out manuever them in traffic (yeah I drive too fast heh)

One fellow, of whom I am quite sure, his elevator does not even leave the basement, much less reach to the 1st floor, said to me (as he was staring at me at work) "I Like You" and the tone is his voice sent a chill up my back, and I said, "well, you'll just have to get over that, won't you?". He's freaked a co-worker out, just this last week, poor thing, she's only 19, and just learning things aren't always cool in Denmark.

But, ladies, watch out, OMG, please be safe, I've seen some stuff in my life, that would make your hairt curl, or straighten out if its already curly.

I've never thought much about it, but do men experience any such things? I've caught myself staring at a fellow the other day (not full-on drooling mind you, but damn near close lol) I'd look every chance I got, at him, but I'd turn away before he saw... but someone else saw me looking and teased me.

PetitMortVampyre....

Although I understand your strategy in talking on the cell phone, I recently received an e-mail stating that this is one of the things that perverts will look for (by their own admission) when choosing their victims....preoccupation, like talking on a cell phone.

As long as one remains aware of their surroundings, and in your case, your red flags were already popping up all over the place...I suppose it would be less of a risk. But just be aware of that little tidbit, courtesy of interviews with perverts.

nick's mum... hur det gaar? ;)

katied... mundo es un muy lindo abuelito! saludos a toda la familia!

lune14/diane... yes, you're right... there are plenty of handsome people around. if i can say that, but God blessed us SCI's with normal looks. you know what i mean... who's ugly, will be ugly as an SCI too and opposite. for instance, when we sit at reastaurant people can't spot we're disabled. it happened to me many times.
