26 miles in 17 days, raising £50k for Spinal Research.

OK, its taken from the Daily Mail, but theres lots of photos in the article showing her bionic/robotic/fes suit.

To me this is just another example of how useless these robotic assists are. She's walking at 1/2 mile an hour and even the smallest obsticle stops her. I'll happily use my wheelchair and be much more mobile. Darn, you could probably crawl faster dragging yourself along.
Just a regular guy making his way through life.

Yes, and it looks like more stress on the arms than a chair is. She must be exhausted!

I can see it being potentially very useful during physiotherapy / rehabilitation but I think it needs a bit of work before it can have a practical use in daily life (aside from getting you up to reach the top shelf where the boyfriend hides the biscuits!) She must be absolutely shattered the poor dear. I hope the weather is gentle on her and she manages to complete the task.
