Has anyone a link to somewhere in the UK that sells such a thing as a small trailer which will attach to the back of my chair so our rather lame but smallish dog can go in it when she tires when we are out and about?

Here's one I found Iain. Made for a bike, but should be possible to adapt.

Here's another:

Or......if you've got silly money to spend:

Thank you - The one with the front wheel looks good - means I don't have to worry about the weight increasing the tip factor!

Brilliant!

I have no advice to post. But, being a chrinic pet rescuer and the current owner of 4 rescue cats, I applaud your desire to incude your pet. They add so much to our lives. When my husband was in the rehab hospital, he often told me he couldn't wait to get home and see the cats. They were one of the things he missed most.

Peace to all.

Not as yet - I've been too busy playing with my new toy - Team Hybrid's Viper electric trike conversion - its a fun thing, and almost makes it worth being in a wheelchair! It even gets up the hills here - which are pretty steep. The dog trailer is for when we go on holiday with the family towards the end of July - which all told includes one crip, 4 dogs, and two kids under 4and only three grown ups - should be fun!

Its more a case of knowing my place - either I solve the dog problem - or I get left at home while my wife looks after the dogs on holiday! :)

Holiday sounds like fun but the Viper sounds better. :)

I have a luggage carrier in the front of my chair with a board on it. My dog is very happy on it.
I know I will always have a seat:)

HI.

There is one place that makes and sells folding pet trailers specifically for pulling with wheelchairs and mobility scooters.

http://jcv-tow-hitch...ble_trailer.htm

They also tow young children very well in these wagons pulled with mobility scooters.

You would have to contact them to get shipping quotes to places outside of the USA if you bought a wagon and tow hitch. But tow hitches alone are easy to ship outside the usa.

Good luck. mobility_scooter_pet_trailer_wagon-05.jpg
