I'm looking to purchase a used electric wheelchair by innovation in motion. the model is a frontier V6 or X5. I have an x5 which I love but it's time to get a new one. Mine is a little worn. I've been having a lot of problems with my back and I am looking to build the rehab seating with tilt, recline, and elevating legs.

I did a demo of a V6 but it does not have rehab seating on it so I only tried it out for a little bit. Also it does not have the features I was looking for (recline and elevating legs and tilt in space). I don't know how these dealers expect you to make a decision on an expensive chair when you can't even try out the features beforehand. Also some of them have no common sense when it comes to designing chairs. The joystick controller on the V-6 makes it impossible to get under tables. my x5 controller is flat where as the controller on the v6 i used stuck up so high. even with a swing away its impossible to get under tables and such. They also do not have any spot to hang a foley bag. sorry if I'm ranting I am just frustrated when it comes to getting new equipment. I also find that my dad knows more when it comes to fitting and fixing my wheelchairs than the dealers.

I live in New Jersey so if anyone is selling a frontier please let me know.

Thanks in advance. Posted Image Posted Image
