If a carer was really rough at performing a bowel evacuation, for a number of years ,what could the consequence be?

The carer in question, was an auxillary nurse, who came to us to help ,before her normal daily job.
She was always in a hurry.as she had to be at work, for a certain time.
She worked for us for about 10 years, but never really understood the health side of my husbands condition.
He alays had small health problems, which obviously effectected his quality of life.Such as bloating, bladder retention, sweating at night.
This came to a head when he got really ill.AD ect.
The carer also fell ill,and was off work for a few weeks My husband seam to get slightly better. Although he had seen a doctor ,and had been prescribed Oxybutinin.
The carer came back to work for one week, before going off sisk again.During the that one week his symptoms came back again! She has now left working for us, and my husband is 100% better.
We also could not understand ,why when we went on holiday he wasnt well before we went ,but during the holiday he seem to get much better. We both worked hard running our own company,so we thought it was stress related, and being on holiday he was more relaxed, now we both think differently,as the carer didnt come on holiday with us.
For the past two months we havent employed any carers,as it is so hard finding the right person.
We only need them as back up in case i am ill
