With the ever increasing discoveries in spinal cord research labs, there is every reason to keep an eye on the ball. As millions wait in wheelchairs, researchers scramble to unlock mechanisims that hold back the long awaited therapies that could potentially reach the clinic. A larger focus in more recent years is the chronic state of paralysis where strides are being made.

Hey Chris! I did not realize these were your posts until I clicked on your blog and saw your pic.
People, I know this lady from CureCare and she works very hard at keeping up with research as well as lots of advocacy, for which many of us lack time. She is a lot like Muskie in her devotion to making sure things get done in the best possible way. Gotta up her reps!

Thank you Pat! A time of deep reflection over my path and the friends I've made along the way. In a just a few days, it will be 7 years for my family. It hasn't been a lonely one with friends like you that stay in touch and care deeply about others. Hope you are well and enjoying life each day!
