Economic Crisis In Greece And Disability.

In a few weeks new austerity measures are about to be taken (once more) and this time as the "fat" has gone new measures will take from the "flesh". What I mean is the social benefits like tetra/para mobility benefits etc will only be give to people that don't work or get a pension.
I would like to have an idea what's the situation in UK reg. disability benefits to severe disabilities like tetra/para or complete blind.
Thanks in advance,

You will find in the UK that cuts are being made all over the place to disability benefits with plans for further cuts in the future so not everything is as glorious as it would appear from the outside.
What in particular do you need to know? Are you thinking of coming over here to live?

Thanks for your reply.
My question is just out of curiosity, with a family with two kids aged 9 and 5 there is no way for the time being to think in moving abroad.
Bad thing is that we have to pay for everything here in Greece, from the rehab to wheelchairs, cushions etc. Cutting the disability benefits will make a lot of disabled (para/tetra and blind) live in poverty and slowly die!

Over notice how so often the salary of the "officials" are written almost in stone? Where city counsel people their salary is gauranteed but not the people who actually keep the city functioning such as fire/rescue, police, sanitation....all those jobs get cuts cuts cuts....but never the people at the top.

*Wheelchairs are made of a special ocular magnetic alloy......they're "eyeball magnets".*
*I USE a wheelchair, that does NOT make ME a wheelchair!*
