I arranged for a local Osteopath to treat my girlfriend as she's got a sore back, and he comes round to our house with his portable table to provide the treatment.

Last night I decided I wanted a good stretch as my neck and shoulders were getting stiff. Wow - he prodded and pocked, pulled and stretched... my shoulder blades are so much looser today (that was painful!) and my neck feels a few inches longer (it was great to be stretched by the neck!) and he dug his sausage-fingers between the base of my skull and C1 and... boy, that was good!

He said that I should do this every 6 to 8 weeks to keep things from getting too tight. I slept like a baby too.

Highly recommended!

Hello!

My physio does this for me too! Flippin hurts at the time but it's soooo worth it! :mfrlol: Having a tight neck and shoulders and the headaches that come with it are just horrible! I had treatment on Wednesday and am feeling so much better for it! :)

I've just started seeing an ostepath for cervicogenic headaches and it really seems to help. Haven't asked him to sort out my shoulder yet. That's this week's mission! :help: Hope ir works!
