Effexor. And here's my post. What worked for me is staying vigilent in researching different medicines to take. Went through quite a few until I found effexor. And of course, medication's are very individualistic so your mileage may vary.

Awwww! I'm so sorry to hear you're in so much pain! It really does suck! I'm suffering a bit with the weather too. I take Tramadol for my nerve pain. Sometimes it takes a while to kick in but when it does...it's really good! I don't get any side effects from it, although I have heard it can make you drowsy.

Good luck!

S-why I'm here... now that I am I don't know how to start.
Been getting the better of me for some time now, I am getting much worse lately. The pain and my condition have been rapidly going downhill over the last few months... my family has been very loving but don't really deal with it.
Honestly, I'm at my wits end and that is not like me at all.
Up until the last few years I was ok with a walker and cane... then I could push with a chair, but the osteoporosis has gotten to where I must use a power chair most of the time because pushing a chair makes stress fractures in my ribs. All new and very painful. My condition is very complicated and most of it causes pain on several levels.... more than anything the loneliness is getting to me.
I am married... not that kind of loneliness. I feel trapped in my skin, in this pain and condition. Everyone in my life, even my therapist seems to glaze over. I know it is a reminder of their mortality... I don't want to talk about it constantly, but some days I just need someone to be There.
Sorry. I am done now.

 What was I saying?! Idid yesterday! It's a good idea to make sure you've eaten enough before takubg Tramadol...probably the same with any painkillers though.
