I'm so sorry for the loss of your brother. I hope you'll feel free to tell us all about him...he's obviously important to you or you wouldn't have found your way here. I'm glad you did.
Blessings~

Let me take this time and thank you for your service. It's people like you, sir, who keep me going everyday. I was just thinking about the days that I want to enlist or commission after I get out of high school. It would be awesome and it would just be passing down a family tradition.
But now...I can't see me in there. Well I can, but I'm sure none of the branches would want me. Can you imagine?
"PVT GET THAT CHAIR! GET THE DAMN CHAIR!"
"YES SIR"
I have to say, I can shoot better then all my friends can though
Thank you again for your service! *Hand salute*

It's so nice to meet you. Welcome to our world. Please tell us about yours and feel free to ask us anything about ours, anything you need to ask, want to know.
But, please tell us about your world, your life, your brother, your service, Afganistan. We'd all love to hear whatever you have to share with us.

Jeff, this is a very big part of the grieving process for you and you still have a strong connection to your brother as expected from your posts. Even though your brother is not experiencing the effects of a SCI now, he did at one point and this was his life for a period of time. I can totally appreciate and understand your being here.
You never know your brother may have a hand in your being drawn here, for he will always be with you. Hope this didnt get too personal and mushy. Welcome and I'm sure we'll be hearing from you soon.
My thoughts will be with you today and all that serve with you over there, stay safe.

You must miss your brother a lot to be searching info about SCI after 16years.
I guess that being away from your family in a hostile environment must galvanise your feelings for your brother.
If you need people to talk to you've come to the right place we are indeed a big friendly family.
I know what you're doing in Afghanistan is your job but like John Anderson I salute you and thank you.
