Anyone seen the latest Geico talking gecko commercial?
He's talking to a guy sitting down in a chair (not w/c) about why he should call Geico. Then makes a remark to the guy about having too much money to get up and check into Geco insurance and put word in his mouth along the lines of 'no I'm rich enough I don't have to stand up and check into it and will just remain seated.'
II want mash the 'green being' this time. First time in a long time I've let something / someone get to me about being bound to a chair. And it's a fricking playlike tv lizard!
I've grappled with rumors of green Geico geckos getting yor goat...

Doesnt bother me none... first because he is talking to an AB person and secondly its normal speach. Kind of like when I say I am going to run to the store quick. Even if I was AB I would drive to the store but clearly I am not going to be doing any running anywhere (maybe rolling). Or when I am in the mall and I say "lets run down to that store quick at the other end of the mall" I still use phrases like that all the time and saying something else to avoid those phrases makes me more unconfortable than just saying them. I have a friend thats blind and he uses phrases like "I was watching TV last night" or "Oh I see" and it sounds normal... if he were to say "I was listenting to TV last night" or "Oh I hear" it would sounds strange and make him more uncomfortable.
Anyways, I guess I dont take any offense because he wasnt talking to a handicap person. If he was then I guess I would be offended.

Quotes are nothing but inspiration for the uninspired.
