Ok this might sound like a strange question and probably most people dont have this problem as they either self catherize or are able to stand briefly but...

I have bladder control and do not use catheters, and when going to the bathroom I can stand for a a few seconds when transferring from my chair to the toilet long enough to take my pants down. I have noticed though on some days I am just too weak that I am have difficulty standing to do this. Usually takes me a few tries of falling on the toilet with my pants half down and trying again.

So, my question is... when my legs are too weak to stand, how do I get my pants down and from the wheelchair over to the toilet? Is there a trick I am missing or just keep doing what I'm doing now? I am just afraid that one of these times when I fall on the toilet that I am going to slip and hurt myself.

hey there,

When i want to get my trousers and boxers down, i undo the button and zip, and then put my thumbs in the sides, and then in one jump, as im off the cusion, slide the boxers and trousers at the same time, then my boxers and trousers are down by my knees,

its pritty easy, hope this helps

Ok yeah that helps... jump up in the chair while pulling down, hop over to the toilet. Sounds simple enough, hopefully I can do it now and I dont land on the wheel or something when I hop off the seat of my chair :bye:

Hi.

I can't stand at all so just transfer myself over and then take my trousers and pants down when I'm sitting on the toilet. I just have to lean over briefly to pull them down at either side.
