Evoked potential tests measure electrical activity in certain areas of the brain in response to stimulation of certain groups of nerves.

These tests are often used to indicate problems along the pathways of certain nerves that are too subtle to be noticed or found on a doctor's exam. The demyelination causes the nerve impulses to be slowed, garbled, or halted altogether.

Another test is Bio-Feedback. In Bio-feedback, electrodes are attached to patient's muscles. The electrode reads the amount of signal that is reaching the muscle from the brain. The electrodes give this information to a computer so you are able to see it on the screen.

Regards

Simon

I love the bio-feedback!!! I used to go once a week and it was so helpful, and encouraging to see if you were getting signal. They are so open minded too. They won't just tell you its over, you'll never walk again; like so many doctors do. They helped my regain so much movement, and i was supposedly a t6 complete, and now i can walk with braces and the parallel bars. Between the bio-feedback, physical therapy, and my dad's help i've stunned doctors that told me i didn't have a chace! They closed the bio-feedback center near me that was doing it though:(
