Hello - I have done some serious searching online and can't seem to find a comprehensive list of outpatient facilities in the Los Angeles area. We would like to go to Northridge, but they have a waiting list and I would like to find out if there are other facilities in our area in case we can't get in to Northridge's outpatient program. Patient is due to be discharged from Craig Hospital in Denver mid December. Quad C5/C6, C/2 mobility; off vent, uses siff and puff wheelchair. Lots of feeling, some right arm movement, minimal but apparent movement in much of body. Thank you to anyone who can lead me to a list of outpatient facilities. Janice

Before the patient is discharged they should line that up for you with a case worker. Hospitals all have them and if the patient is not yet assigned one then they will be. You can request one now and talk to them. They have lists of rehab clinics in your area and depending on how big the hospital is they may have them for out ot state. You can always have them do reasearch to find one in the area that you are looking at and have them do all the legwork to find out if it is in network or not for your insurance/wc/medicare, etc.

Quotes are nothing but inspiration for the uninspired.

Here is a place that is pretty well known. People come from far away to get in and its about 20 min or less from LA,

Rancho has a good reputation. I went to Rehabilitation Institute at Santa Barbara. It is small and much individual attention but maybe a bit far away from LA (about a hundred miles north of LAX) Good luck.
