Onion, what exactly do you mean by missing? I noticed she joined the forum on 10/18/06, which is not that long ago. Did she confide something with you that leads you to believe she could be in trouble?

She sent me a personal email on 10/25 and told me that she had fallen down the stairs and should she go to the hospital? That's all.

As soon as I saw the email I asked her if she was alone, how many stairs did she fall down, etc. I told her that she had to really be careful because she might not even be aware that something was broken. I got no response. I sent a follow up email before I left the computer that night.

My mom was in the hospital for 2 days and I was away from the computer but as soon as I got back to it I again sent a personal email to her and asked if she was okay but I haven't heard a word from her.

Ok
keeptukin did go to the ER after falling down stairs. Her partner is the one that very recently contacted the boards through a PM. And I guess I'll let her tell you what happened in her own words:
"Hi, This is Keeptrukin's Partner. She was admitted to the ER on Wednesday after going to the ER. She is still in the Hospital but we are hoping she will get a bed in the Rehab Hospital tomorrow. She has lost complete feeling and use of her left arm and hand and on her right arm from the elbow down to her hand. The Steroids stopped it from going any furthur. Her left shoulder started coming back yesterday so we are hopeful that things will start to turn around. Thank You for your concern, she really appreciates it. J

Keeptrukin! (when you can read this) Girl! You sound like me only I'm notorious for waiting and saying if it doesn't get better in a week or two or four then I'll go to the hospital!

In the meantime after sharing your email of 10/25 with my daughter, she's yelling in the background for me not to ask questions just to tell you to go to the hospital and get checked out for goodness sakes! It doesn't matter how many stairs!

Leave it to me for sound advice! :doctor:

Love and prayers for a speedy recovery! :)

Onion , you are a special person to have cared enough to try and find out what happened to keeptrukin. It's reassuring that people care so much about others on this site.
keeptrukin, I hope you get all the lost feeling back.

I also got a PM asking if she should go to the hospital. I told her to go and get checked out..........rather be safe than sorry and she responded "thanks". I PMed her the next day but didn't get any response. Thanks for the update and let us know if you hear anything else.
