I was just wondering if anybody here have ever cross country skied after their accident. I've seen it in the Paralympics but have not heard much about it other wise.

LIFE IS NOT A JOURNEY TO THE GRAVE WITH THE INTENTION OF ARRIVING SAFELY IN A PRETTY AND WELL PRESERVED BODY,
BUT RATHER TO SKID IN BROADSIDE, THOROUGHLY USED UP, TOTALLY WORN OUT, AND LOUDLY PROCLAIMING----WOW----WHAT A RIDE!!!

I did X-country ski-ing before my accident. I remember it needed a lot of full body effort. I cant see how it could be done from a chair. You'd be exhausted after about five minutes.
I didn't watch the paralympics, Do you have any photos?

Thanks Chilepepper

That's great. As long as the skis are well waxed I think I could manage that. Ive already got very good upper body strength (comes from pushing over rough ground without the snow!) :)
