I take 20Mg of Buscopan twice a day for both bladder and an irritable bowel, although I initially went the Oxybutynin route at first for the bladder but it was not strong enough.

I was told not to take Oxybutynin and Buscopan at the same time as they are both in the same class of drug, iirc both are a smooth muscle relaxant.

It really does the job on both the bladder and the bowel front, not had a leek in ages and only when my guts are really playing up but not by itself.

I also got a really dry throat with Oxybutynin as well, not a bad side effect in itself but uncomfortable - with Buscopan I have no side effects.
