So I was at Ash's house on Friday night and she got a phone call. Apparently she has been getting phone calls for the guy who used to have her number, and this caller on Friday was looking for this guy. Ash told him, I have no idea who he is or where he is. The caller procedes to ask "How old are you" She, niavely tells him, and he says "oh too young for me" She goes "I'm taken any ways". Here comes the punch line the whole reason for the topic!!! He goes verbatim "Girls are like parking spots. The good ones are all taken and the rest are handicapped!" :yahoo:

He had no idea that she was in a chair. But we were all speechless. Actually, Ash was speechless, her boyfriend was dumbfounded, and I was yelling "Bastard" and laughing because it was hilarious.

So I made the topic so everyone can post either simular comments or worse comments. Or better comments.

I've a couple of good male AB friends who are on the dating scene at 32 and 34 and to be frank all the girls out there they attract seem to be damaged goods! They have found sooo many bunny boilers. Maybe thats what he meant!!

Thinking about it we all have our baggage, wether that be a chair, old relationships, kids etc and thats what make everyone different. Just depends how much 'personality & experience' people want.

If he just wanted a quick & easy shag with no thought then he should just use his hand!!

Sound's as though the caller has been reading too much FHM.

In a recent FHM magazine, Vida Guerra said. "men are like parking spots, the good ones are always taken and the only ones left are all handicapped"

So, the caller was an asshole, he couldn't even think up anything original to say!

Simon.

I had a patient refuse treatment today, saying "I'm not a trained seal preforming for others pleasure!" It was classic!!

Now you know what it's like to be a minority. The great privilege we have is that we were once part of the great gray mass, insulated from pointed jokes.

If you try to divorce yourself from the cruel belittlement of handicapped persons for a moment, you might realize, it is kind of a funny joke. And don't all jokes poke fun at some one, thing or group? I guess this joke pokes fun at both women and persons with handicaps. I guess that doesn't make it twice is funny though.
