Hello

What do you think is the best wheelchair?

best looking wheelchair?

What do you think of the Trekinetic style of chair? ie with 1 wheel at the back? are there any disadvantages to this layout? (aprt frpm the cost!)

Thank you

Harry

Hi,

My aunt has a Hover Round power wheelchair and I think that is the world's best wheelchair, she had a jazzy pride mobility before but she never left comfortable in that at all. I am so happy that I was able to buy her the new wheelchair from my savings.

regards,
Laura

Nuh uh!!
There is so a BEST wheelchair around, and it just so happens to be MINE!!!

Why, you ask, so naive and unaware?

Simply because, I'm in it!

Hi Laura and welcome.

No offence Mr and Mrs Bounce but my partner's is the best chair as he looks damn hot in it, or out of it for that matter.

To all of you down under, don't know if you have found a good chair but based on our experience steer clear of Smik.

If the chair you are in now fits well, then surely that is the worlds best? How would you feel if it was not there tomorrow morning?
sure there are good looking chairs, super light chairs, really groovy paint schemes but function trumps asthetics in my book.
I admit it's a bit simplistic, but remember, the grass is always greener??

I see many beautiful things, and a few chachters in here qualify however I don't really know what the intricate/intimate details of either but from my perspective they are truly beautiful either visually or by what the write respectivley.

The best chair is the one that sits in the shed, because its no longer required.

Best looking wheelchair, I would say the Quickie Xenon. But it depends what you are after from a function standpoint really. If its a folding wheelchair, then i would certainly say the Xenon. If it was a rigid chair, the Quickie Helium looks really good, and light too. Take a look, theyre on the quickie manual wheelchairs website. I think these are called the Q7 in the States.
