Catheter Placement

Lucky enough to still be walking after a bruise c3/c4.
injury made me spastic enough to get pump.
catheter ends at t6? when the rate is turned up higher it makes my legs too weak to climb stairs, yet my upper body Is still cramped and tight.
Would placing the cather closer to the injury make a difference?
