What is an AB? I've seen it in a lot of posts and I can't figure it out for the life of me.

By the way I'm sure I'm going to smack myself right in the head when I hear the answer...

Abled Bodied person
Paraplegic with Spina Bifida. Sensory and function level is T8. T11-L5 fusion 1993. Laminectomy and decompression T10 2006. Spinal fusion T8-T12 with instrumentation Feb 2007. Moderate kyphoscoliosis. Taking 75mg Lyrica 3xday for neuropathic pain.

It's funny how your post title "I'm almost positive this is a stupid question..." pulled me in almost like how you have to slow down when going by the scene of a bad car accident. I couldn't not read it!

I always thought AB meant a bastard. Ha ha just kidding.

Besides there are no stupid questions. This site was formed to inform and support. And thats what happens. There are no stupid questions.

To be "Politically correct" should it not be a "Person with an able body" ?

I'M WITH YOU LADY PILOT. BUT I BELEIVE EVERYONE HAS A DISSABILITY ( NOBODY IS PERFECT) ITS JUST SOME PEOPLE'S YOU CAN SEE. AND THAT CAN MAKE IT EASIER
tell me its impossible & i will show you how its done

Correctly put it's 'gimps' and 'walkies'. LadyPilot...do you drive or fly through your house or a mall, etc.? Don't know what my point was but I bet it was a good one!
